Sprains, Strains, Fractures

Injured Something? Get It Evaluated Without Leaving Home.

Whether it’s a twisted ankle after playing basketball, a wrist injury from catching a fall, or shoulder pain after lifting, musculoskeletal injuries can be painful and disruptive. The last thing you want is to sit in a busy urgent care waiting room for hours just to be told you need an X-ray. Members can reach Calabasas Concierge MD instantly by call, text, or telehealth, with in-home evaluation, splinting, and coordinated imaging when needed.

Common injuries we treat include:

  • Ankle, knee, or wrist sprains
  • Muscle strains
  • Shoulder, elbow, or hip injuries
  • Suspected fractures
  • Finger and toe injuries
  • Falls and sports injuries
  • Tendon irritation or overuse injuries
  • Soft tissue swelling and bruising

Your care begins with direct access — simply call or text Dr. Hakman to discuss what happened and review photos or symptoms. Many mild sprains and strains can be diagnosed via telehealth, and treatment can start immediately. When an in-person evaluation is needed to check swelling, range of motion, bruising, or deformity, Dr. Hakman provides an in-home exam and treatment.

When appropriate, we provide:

  • In-home splinting, bracing, or immobilization
  • On-the-spot pain and inflammation management
  • Guided home care for swelling and recovery
  • Coordination of X-rays or other imaging when needed
  • Assessment for whether orthopedic follow-up is appropriate
  • Physical therapy coordination for rehabilitation and recovery

If your injury suggests a more serious issue — such as a displaced fracture, severe swelling, or concern for vascular/nerve involvement — Dr. Hakman will guide you promptly to imaging or emergency evaluation and remain involved throughout the process.

Dr. Hakman’s note: “Members get evaluated and treated quickly — the same day — so they can start healing right away and return to their normal routine without delays.”
