Headaches and Migraines

Headache Ruining Your Day? Let’s Fix It Fast.

Headaches and migraines can stop everything — work, plans, sleep, and concentration. Whether it’s a dull pressure behind the eyes, a throbbing migraine with nausea, or a sudden headache after stress or dehydration, you shouldn’t have to suffer through it or sit in a loud urgent care waiting room. Members can reach Calabasas Concierge MD by call, text, or telehealth for rapid evaluation from board-certified ER physician Dr. Eryk Hakman.

Common causes of headaches and migraines include:

  • Migraine with or without aura
  • Tension headaches from stress or posture
  • Sinus pressure or allergies
  • Dehydration, heat, or skipped meals
  • Viral illness
  • Eye strain or screen fatigue
  • Caffeine withdrawal
  • Neck strain or muscle tension
  • TMJ-related pain

Your care begins with direct access. A quick call or text allows Dr. Hakman to determine whether your headache is likely benign or if it needs immediate attention. Many headaches and even migraines can be treated through telehealth with guided home care, medication management, hydration strategies, and prescriptions when appropriate. If symptoms require a physical exam — such as checking neurologic signs, neck stiffness, hydration status, or blood pressure — a same-day or next-day in-home visit is available.

When appropriate, we provide:

  • Targeted migraine medications
  • Anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxants
  • In-home IV hydration and medications
  • Nerve blocks
  • Sinus and allergy treatment
  • Guidance on triggers, prevention, and lifestyle adjustments

If your symptoms suggest something more serious — such as a sudden severe headache, neurologic changes, or infection — we coordinate urgent testing or emergency evaluation, and Dr. Hakman will advocate for you throughout the process.

Dr. Hakman’s note: “Not every headache is ‘just a headache.’ Early evaluation helps relieve pain faster — and ensures we don’t miss anything serious.”
